Pjotr used the abdication of HM Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands in favor of her son HRH Prince Willem-Alexander in multiple design experiments. The result shown below is camp and includes a crystal block. Inside this block there is a line 'drawn' by laser. When looking at this line from one direction one finds the silhouette of the former queen of the Netherlands. From another direction there is the silhouette of her son. The double portrait is an idea of Pieter Adriaans, artist and professor in learning and adaptive systems at the University of Amsterdam.
